Ziheng Shen (b.1994) born in Nanjing, China. He gained a BA degree in photography and a BA degree in Management from Nanjing Normal University. He is a student who studying MA photography in the University of the Arts London (LCC). In 2016, he gained 3 offers which were from Royal College of Art and University of the Arts London and achieved second prize in Jiangsu Polular Science Ads Contest in China. In 2014, he achieved first prize in the Arts Exhibition of China University Student.
Ziheng Shen is an artist who focus on use photography, moving image and installation to investigating the relationship between outside world and human inner world. People live in a world that full of image message and information. There are overwhelmed things coming to our mind and life day after day, disrupt and influence our connection to ourselves. Most people do not have a clear understanding of the inner wold. Ziheng uses his works to create an environment by photography and installation to discuss the "truth" of the world. By using the artworks to remind the audience, we absented the experience of our own, return to ourselves.
