This project is about the relationship between men and society. The factory workers’ jobs were exaggerated in the photos. We rehearsed in prudent buskins and played the roles we had chosen, safeguarding our passion and idealizing it. We strive to find various excuses to persuade us into showing ourselves who might be cynical or willing to give, careless or careful. We expect applause from the audience for our monologues and costumes and wish to disappear quietly on the way home. Besides, we have to do our utmost to conceal the nonconformity between sentiment and morality. That doesn’t mean we are hypocrites since the roles we were playing are more of ourselves than the involuntary ego in our dreams.
